Right, I have vfc for me 6.2 machine, but I'm not so sure about how
easy it is to make a new video format since I'm not a video engineer.
I've played around with some timing parameters in the past to change
when the stereo sync pulse is issued, but I've never created a new
overall scan rate.

So, I was hoping for the easier solution of finding someone else whose
encountered the same bridge, and already answered the 5, er 3 questions.
