Not quite a performer question, but likely to be known/of-interest to
this group:
I need a vof that doesn't come installed with IR-graphics. And before
I go trying to compile one, I figured I would check with the group
to see if anyone already has done this.
What I'm looking for is a high-res stereo output that will still drive
most high-end monitors (eg. the new wide ones, and the old ones that
were shipped with IRs).
Something like: 1280x1024_96s.vof
There already is a 1280x1024_114s & 1280x1024_120s, but the former
will drive the projectors fine, but not the monitors, and the latter
will drive neither. Of course, if bumping down to 96s means there's
enough bandwidth (and the monitors & projectors can deal with it),
then something like 1600x1200_96s.vof would be even better. (I can
dream can't I. :-)
Thanks,
Bill
