I have Performer 2.2 installed on two Indigo2s (Irix 6.2). One will load
3ds files, the other will not. So far, I cannot find the significant
difference between them. The Indigo2 which fails to load 3ds was until
recently loading them OK, but something has happened to change this happy
state of affairs (perhaps it was the loading of Division that has broken it).

Both load iv files fine. However, the machine that works with 3ds files needs
an LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable set so that it searches /usr/lib32/libpfdb.
Does this suggest it is using o32 libraries, when the other is n32?
Further investigation is needed.
