This is a response to the submission by Bill Volz regarding
eye motion tracking.

At Virginia Tech, I am working on a Performer interface for
an eye motion tracking system, which will be used in our
CAVE. The primary use of our eye tracking system will be
human-computer interaction research in 3-D immersive
environments.

The eye tracking system we are using is from ISCAN, Inc.

Our system will be used to track the viewer's line of sight
within a virtual world. ISCAN can tailor their systems for
a wide variety of uses, from virtual worlds to flat screens
to the real world. The hardest part is calibrating the eye
tracker so the eye motion data properly translates into the
virtual space of your Performer application. Once that is
done, Performer can easily handle the intersection testing.
