I'm trying to enable paging on my ASD terrain, but it won't work.
Without paging the ASD terrain (in the form of a PFB file) worked
properly. Then I told the pfdBuildASD to make paging files instead,
by setting the buildpaging parameter to 1 and setting names for the
config- and page-files. I got a config file and a page file plus a
number of paging tile files. Then I tried to run these in ASDFLY
with a config-file (NOT the same config-file that pfdBuildASD
created, but the config file that ASDFLY reads). It contained this:
2 (telling ASDFLY that paging is enabled)
[ ]
[ a 4x4 texture matrix ]
[ ]
[ ]
texture filename
config filename
page filename
xyz (viewing position)
hpr (viewing direction)
Why doesn't ASDFLY show anything? It doesn't complain about anything
before it starts, but on the other hand the time for loading seems
very short. I see nothing whatsoever in the ASDFLY window.
I also tried converting the files with convasd, creating .asd-files
instead. It wouldn't work either.
Can somebody help me with this? I'm sure that I've forgotten something.
The documentation in this area is unfortunately not what it should have
been.
