Motif GUI with Performer

I don't know if this will be helpful, but I've always
found that the best GUI is the one you create yourself.
You can tune it specific to your application. It takes
more time, but is far less expensive in the long run.

If you have already been using Perfly, you are familiar
with the multiprocessing format. Just add another process
for the GUI.

Build your GUI first and use a glwMDrawingAreaWidget as your
display area. All you have to do is tell Performer to draw
in that drawing area. I know I have oversimplified the
solution, but I've done this in the past and it works great.
