If the FAQ is followed, Performer supports Alias data in the OBJ format,
but it doesn't seem to work, at least for the last Alias version.

It seems incredible, but yes. I still cannot believe that the most famous
3D program in SGI cannot be directly imported to Performer, perphaps I'm
wrong and have overlooked something obvious.

After sometime testing various formats, I have converted the data to inventor
in Alias and have loaded it in performer, but the texture information
is wrong.

Someone knows a better way to convert Alias to Performer ?
