MUSE Technologies, Inc. (MTI) is a software company that produces advanced interactive environments and network collaboration technology for all segments of the computer marketplace. We are seeking imaginative, innovative engineers needed to create next-generation software at MTI.
GRAPHICS PROGRAMMERS (SOFTWARE ENGINEERS)
Positions exist in both product development and custom application development.
Responsibilities: Develop and enhance multi-dimensional tools for graphical interaction in immersive environments. Work on custom solutions to customer problems in widely diverse application areas including CAD, medical, database, etc.
Requirements: Programming experience in C, C++, 3D Graphics, GL, OpenGL, UNIX systems; MS/BSCS and intermediate- to senior-level experience.
Pluses: Experience with Inventor, Performer, and real-time computing.
QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
Responsibilities: Direct and perform product tests to ensure compliance with Company quality standards and specifications. Work closely with MTI Product Development and Custom Services. Recommend tests and product changes to improve quality standards; analyze and verify products, custom development, and documentation. Oversee and verify quality of all products/services.
Requirements: Background in quality control/assurance in software production, MS in computing or related field, familiarity with C and C++ languages and UNIX and NT operating systems.
Pluses: Some experience in graphics programming.
SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee development of semi-custom software application projects for a variety of customers and industries. Interact with customers and technical staff to define project objectives and time lines and managing schedules, resources, and budgets.
Requirements: Experience in overseeing software development projects in both scientific and commercial areas; knowledge of UNIX, NT, C, C++; excellent communication skills; ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Pluses: Experience with graphics languages.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Responsibilities: Assist customers and sales personnel with questions regarding the installation, usage, or functionality of any of the Company's products or services. Interface with customers as a liaison to technical staff in both product development and custom services. Deal with technical issues and competing and compatible products.
Requirements: Programming experience in C and C++, knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems, and familiarity with 3D graphics languages such as GL and OpenGL; excellent communication skills and broad understanding of software applications and programming environments.
