To PfAll,
I am sorry to put out such a helpless signal but I need some help. I am
running a program (derived from perfly). When I run the program in the
optimized version, I get a "Bus Error" coredump. When I run the program
without optimization, it doesnot coredump. When I run the program with
Optimization Level 1, it doesnot core dump. When I run the program with
optimization level 2, it does coredump. I have located a structure. This
structure contains other structures. At a certain memory location in this
structure, I cannot read or write. I can read and write the other structures
in this big structure. When I shuffle the smaller structures in the big
structure (struct :-)), the error stays in the same location.
  Any ideas ?

Dogan
