Sorry - it means the 'New' 64 bit format for object files.

Of course you *can* tell your 5 yr old that the Nintendo 64
was designed by the same organization that designed all those
cool SGI boxes that Daddy uses. Nintendo games are (as I
understand it) frequently written using a macro library
that is 'essentially' OpenGL - which is what all your
pfPrograms are using - so there is a link.

With the advent of reasonably fast 3D on PC's, my 8yr old
has discovered that I could *in principal* write video
games to his specifications...this is not a good thing.
