We are running Performer 2.2 on an Onyx with 6.2 OS. We have a .flt
terrain database with one 252KB texture (ground.int) mapped on it, and 3
other .flt models in our scenario. As we are flying over the database
and a truck .flt model with a texture (camo.rgb) on it comes into the
scene the texture on the terrain database switches from the original
252Kb texture to the camo.rgb texture which is on the truck. As soon as
the truck is no longer in the scene, the texture switches back to the
correct original texture. This switching continues as the truck appears
and disappears from the scene.
We have flown around other terrain databases and the same problem
occurs.
We recently upgraded from OS 5.3 and Performer 2.0, and we did not have
this problem with the older versions.
The debug indicates only 37.5% of the texture memory in use.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
Thank you,
Suzie
