I am currently working on a simulation that uses Vega isectors to
detect collisions. I have discovered that the isector collisions
only get detected if the object is within the viewing frustrum;
otherwise no hit is recorded. Is this also a problem with the
Performer isector implementation, or is there a way to detect isector
hits, even if the object is out of the viewing frustrum ? I am
willing to scrap the Vega code for Performer code if there is a
benefit.

The system currently uses an Onyx RE2, IRIX 5.3 and Performer 2.0.
This is an installed system in a gov't facility and upgrades to the
s/w are not currently possible.

Thanks,
