Steve and All,

I'd like to know this as well.

I've also made clip textures with mgmosaic in both sgi8888 and sgi5551.
Both of these formats had the alpha's set correctly and displayed
properly in MultiGen. However, when I loaded the .ct file into perfly,
it only displayed the red, green and blue values.

I have verified this.

I don't know. Does anyone know how to get alpha in the background color
of a clip texture (without padding with another texture that has alpha)?
