I am going to guess that your file system containing /usr/tmp changed
from EFS to XFS. If so, this is the cause of the error, and there is
a patch that you can apply to your program that will fix this problem.
It was posted to the group a few years ago and you can find it in the
monthly archives (probably do a search on PFTMPDIR).
