We have an application based on perfly. Recently, a customer sent us
a .flt model that contains MultiGen driver beads that cause a portion
of a model to rotate back and forth. When loaded into perfly, the
model seems to rotate fine as long as we use the -y flt,26,1 flag in
perfly, which causes it to call pfdConverterMode("flt",
PFFLT_BEHAVIORS, 1).
However, when we load the same model into our application, the model
does not rotate, even though we make the same pfdConverterMode call in
our application. Are there any other performer or loader calls one
has to make to enable drivers to have their desired effect. (I don't
know very much about driver beads). Does PFFLT_CLEAN or PFFLT_FLATTEN
have to enabled, for example? Our application doesn't differ much
from perfly in the way it manages interaction with Performer and with
the loader.
Any suggestions on what we might be missing would be greatly
appreciated.
