I just found the memory leak in my test script. I had adapted it
from code that I had written to check texture references and on
every loop made a call "tex->loadFile(filename)". CVD said that
was were memory went up and when I removed the line gmemusage
stopped showing a leak.

I am glad to see that the problem looks more like that described
in other people's mail. Now I need to figure out how to remove
the problem with loadFile().
