I am having exactly the same problem. In fact I have two open
support calls on this issue! It has been 4 to 5 days and no one has
been able to give any clarification on this. I have noticed
this with my performer application where I use the DBASE process
to delete and load new inventor models. I have also noticed this
with the pf2.2 sample program 'texmem' which allows you to
clear TRAM during run time. When this is done, the size as shown
by gmemusage of 'texmem' nearly doubles and IRIX size also
goes up a lot. I don't understand what is going on, but
this surely slows up my other process (GUI) which uses thumbwheels,
invnetor rendering etc. a lot.
