On Onyx2:

All you should need to do is to buy an extra monitor, mouse and
keyboard. The system already has
the connections for the second keyboard/mouse. You then hook up the 2'nd
monitor to the extra pipe
and change the default behavoiur of X on the system to run two
X-servers/login sessions
( one on pipe-0 the other on pipe-1).

I was playing briefly with this on our system, and had it working. It's
just a while ago so I've forgotten
the details.
