Hi,

Situation:

Several scene graphs each rooted with a pfScene. All scene graphs have
had pfdMakeSharedScene called on them and are saved as individual .pfb
files.

Some set of the .pfb files are loaded - each with there own pfScene. Is
there now a way to merge the scenes together - easily?

Attaching the scene graphs (minus their pfScenes) to a new pfScene and
repeating the pfdMakeSharedScene does not work. My guess is that the
state that was extracted previously and placed in the original pfScene
nodes is now 'lost' from the point of view of the new pfScene. (??)
For example, no textures show up.

Simply combining the GeoStates of the two original pfScene nodes
(manually or otherwise) dosn't appear to me to be the correct thing to
do - and probably wouldn't work anyway - or would it?

I know the maual says that you can only put a pfScene at the root and it
cannot be a child of any other nodes. But it seems to me that something
in the spirit of a pfScene would be useful here. Something like a group
that could set a new default state but not be a scene. That would allow
me to pull out the GeoStates in the two existing pfScene and place them
into these new 'state setting' nodes.

Some advise on what might be the best way to acheive this would be nice
(read - easier).

Thanks,
Scott
