But, as you say, most of the technology in OpenGL++ will be leveraged for
Fahrenheit (man, every time I type that I type it wrong... couldn't they have
picked a name that was easier to type 8-). I would assume that much of the
OpenGL++ Scene Graph architecture will carry through to Fahrenheit. I think
the goal of a Mesa++ should be to implement the Fahrenheit API much as Mesa
implements the OpenGL API. Thus the OpenGL++ spec would be an excellent
starting point for such an effort. One does already exist, up to a point, so
it would be nice if SGI and/or the ARB could release it into the public domain.
