Octane Channel Option and Performer2.2?

Has anyone used the Octane Channel Option with Performer2.2?

Neither /usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C++/simple.C nor
/usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C/pvchan.c work when the system
is in 4++at++640x480_60 mode. I believe I have the latest patches for the
Channel Option, #2858 and #2895.

My application doesn't even manage to open a window.

I modified simple.C to use PFMP_APPCULLDRAW mode and it opens a window
but then just spins at this location:

All other graphics programs and demos that I've tried work fine, but
nothing Performer-based will work.

Help. Please?
