This one is actually in the pfMan pagees on pfLightModel and pfLight so I
have to bragg :-)
Attenuation on the light model is done only in IRIS GL operation.
OpenGL light attenuation is done per-light.
Per-light attenuation is only available in OpenGL.
IRIS GL light attenuation is done on the light model.
We even have a pfQueryFeature token so you can tell at run-time which
one you've got: PFQFTR_LIGHT_ATTENUATION.

Subject: Attenuation of lights
I am a bit confused with the attenuation of lights. It can be set for both
a pfLightSource (in which case I suppose the three components depend on
the source) and a pfLightModel (since it is specified for a pfGeoState,
itself attached to a pfGeoSet, I can also suppose the components depend
on the object which is enlighted). So... which version is correct ?
