The linker looks for DSO's in the specified directories. If it finds
one it will get the version number and stores it in the executable,
the DSO table. You can see this table with the command elfdump -Dl.
It will have an entry for the libpfflt DSO if you have mentioned on
the link line '-lpfflt' .
If you use the pfdInitConverter(".flt"); it could be that the your
executable is incompatible with the flight loader with respect to the
ABI (o32, N32) and the mips instruction set. You can find these out
with the 'file' command.
