The easiest way is *still* to shrink the size of the window
and see if it goes faster. If it does then it's pretty certain
that it's fill limited. If it doesn't then it's something else
(but not necessarily transforms).

When you do this test, be sure that you switched off Performer's
feature to automatically vary LOD ranges according to display
resolution.
