I had the same problem. Apparently the warnings have no consequence (in
this instance). They can be turned off using -Wl,-woff,85 (see below)

> $(PROGRAMS):
> $(C++F) -o $++at++ $(SOURCES) $(LDFLAGS) $(WOFF) -Wl,-woff,85
