An easy one

This one should be easy.
In a member function from a class I derived from a
pfGeoSet, a call to free() invokes pfFree(), and I
get an error message

PF Warning/Usage: pfMemory::free() can't free()
non-pfMemory data

I would like to call free(), not pfFree().
Help?
