I also dropped the MultiGen loader in frustration (that was
~4 years ago) - and we have never once regreted that decision -
but I don't think it's fair to blame MultiGen. I honestly believe
that what you want to do with each construct in the file is so
application dependent that a totally standard loader is virtually
impossible for anything other than simple demo programs. By all
means try hacking the loader to do what you want - but expect that
to be tricky for anything but the simplest changes.
