In fairness, the problem is more that the modeller representation
is not a 1:1 correlation with the scene graph and the representation
is kind of modal (yes with an 'a') in that the way a flight model
appears often depends on the rendering mode of the tool and in some
modes attributes can have different or no effect. In addition there
is some err.. unusual terminology used in parts of the modelling tool.

This is not a simple problem due to ambiguity as much as anything else.
