Hello,

This must seem like a dumb question, but I'm at my
wits end. My problem is that if I change the material color,
swap materials, or otherwise try and change the color of
a pfGeode that is in the Scene heirarchy, it causes all the objects
which I generate to disappear or be mapped to a color that I never
specified. This only happens after the geode is in the scene.

        My question is:

What am I forgetting to do?
(e.g. what are the restrictions on setting the pfMaterials,
GeoStates, etc. or has anyone encountered this problem before and
I need to turn Lighting on...)

The objects that are having problems are pfGeodes which
have only one geoset created by the pfdNewCube routine, and
have a pfGeoState which has the Front Material pointing to
a pfMaterial.

I am using Performer Version 2.1 on an Infinite Reality running Irix 6.2
with the 7.1 MipsPro C++ compiler and am using the C++ interface.

I've spent a day racking my brain, pouring through the documentation,
trying things like changing materials, geostate settings, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the time,

Justin
