We have Performer 2.2 up and running now, thanks to all who helped! Now
I'm ready for a couple of questions about actually implementing new
techniques with Pf2.2....

Q1) Are there any step by step instructions&tools for ASD and ClipMapping
with Performer 2.2? I've run the demo's and started walking through the
code. I've got the DTED level 1 already for our selected area
(approximately 8-10 degrees latitude and longitude) and some of the
imagery. Our finaly imagery will be 3 color 30 meter for all of the
area, 20 meter for 1/3-1/2 of the area, 10 meter for a smaller section,
and 1 meter b&w (we'll probably color it based on the 10 meter) for an
even smaller section.... Are there tools for handling multi-resolution
imagery for clip-maps or do I have to expand everything to the same
resolution for processing as a clip-map? I'm trying to get an idea of
the scale of effort that will go into processing this data before it
arrives on site....

Q2) Is it possible to load an ASD database into an existing performer
tree structure? This would be the quickest way of adding ASD to an
existing application, but I wasn't sure if it was possible....

Thanks for all the help in getting this far!

jeff
