I just received performer 2.2 and installed it.

In the online release notes http://www.sgi.com/Technology/Performer/relnotes2.2.html
two example programs concerning video textures are mentioned.

I do not seem to have those on my CD. Could somebody tell me where to look for them,
give me a pointer or send them to me, please. Are they working with the DIVO board or
only with Sirius?

Jean, you are right - the name in the relnotes is unfortunately out of date.
The proper path is /usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C/movietex.c.
I'll fix this in the relnotes that we keep on our web site so additional
thanx for pointing this out. Part of the reason for the error is that we used
to have a bunch of little programs doing video textures that worked
under various circumstances and at various levels of complexity. The
proliferation was more confusion than help so now we have one: movietex.c.
We kept the main old sirus-only example in pguide/libpr/siriusvidtex.c.
Movietex.c will work with DIVO and Sirus (as well as O2 and OCTANE and has
a mode to page purely from host)
and has ifdefs for compiling on 6.2 vs 6.5.

Hope that helps and thanx again for the report!
src.
