Performer 2.2 - When?

Hi:

   Anyone know the release date for Performer 2.2?

   I will be running it on an O2 and I plan to upgrade from my
current R5K 180 Mhz to the 200 Mhz 1 MB SC system. Should I expect
any significant performance increase? (transforms or pixel processing
or both) with 2.2
