Thanks for the response.
Tried that one first.

Get the following compiler flag

        CC -g -lm -c perfDriver.C -o perfDriver.o
"perfDriver.C", line 194: error(3464): no instance of overloaded
          "pfSwitch::operator new" matches these operands
        Shared->sceneSwitch = new(arena) pfSwitch;
                                 ^
