In general, versions for Irix 6.2+ should be:
On iR, pf 2.1 + patch 1696 ( 2.1 dsos )
On non-iR, pf 2.0 + patch 1696 + patch 1392
(some people are running 2.1 on non-iR machines - still need 1696 too)
