Mike,

Since your application seems to be running on only one CPU, maybe you have
restricted or isolated CPUs on the "bad" Onyx. Try running "mpadmin -s".
Is your application always running on the same CPU every time you try it?
If it's the case, it might indicate that the other CPU is restricted.

As mentioned by Rob Jenkins, use the plain "osview" to obtain better
indication on various system activities.
