 Onyx2 will provide you 2x the speed for downloading textures and display
 lists to the gfx. ClipMapping for example works a lot better on Onyx2.

 Independantly, some applicaton have a 10% increase of Pixel Fill.

 Evrything else is the almost the same for graphic, but dont forget that
 the bandwith between Cpu and Main memory is greatly improved on Onyx2,
 so that may help also for the other part of your applications.

 Also, I thought that Onyx2 IR was less expensibe that Onyx IR ?
