Hello,

this far from performer and closer to OpenGL, but I've noticed that
here there are several OpenGL kings !!!

Well,
Here's my problem.
I used to work under Performer with objects and scenes
described with Inventor format. Now I have an application
that needs to run on PC ( don'thow me stones ..).
So I've done a loader that allows me to load Open Inventor scenes or objects
and render under OpenGL.

Everything is working fine but not the lighting.

If I'm close to the object, color and material
are quiet good and if I'm further, the object is
"burnt", its color is white overall.

So what is good standard lighting model for an OpenGL scene?
What is basic material conversion or tricks from Open IV to Open GL ?
