A customer of ours wants to configure an Onyx/Onyx2 for two stereo views and of
course he doesn't want to spend too much money. We assume that the views will
be fairly the same (i.e., reuse the same texture). Does anyone have any advice
as far as whether we should load all of the RMs into a single graphics pipe, or
split them up into two separate graphics pipes?

Specifically, is the texture downloaded separately for each pipe, and if so,
does that outweigh the benefit of isolated graphics pipelines?

Does anyone have any lessons learned for generating two separate (but almost
the same) stereo views?

Our application repeatedly updates the scene graph and downloads/updates new
texture.

Thanks for any advice,
Bob
