Create Semaphore Arena problem

 Hi,

 I'm having some problems getting a performer 1.2 application running again.
We recently upgraded an ONYX to IRIX 6.2. I was hoping that the
Performer1.2 program
would still run on the new operating system, but it wont.
When I run it I get:

Performer Fatal: pfInit: Cannot create semaphore arena via NFS (/usr/tmp). Change PFTMPDIR

 Currently the PFTMPDIR is not set to anything. I change it to /tmp or
./ and I still get the same problem.

 Any suggestions out there ? I'm sure it's something really simple. I hope...
