Not sure if you have already received a reply, so here goes:

>From the pfBillboard man page (under BUGS):
"Intersection traversals test only the pfBillboard's bounding volume, not
 its individual pfGeoSets."

If you really need it, you might be able to add intersection traversal callbacks
to a pfBillboard node to fix this.

Question to Performer team: Will this be fixed in the next release? Or is it
something we should do using callbacks?

Hi,

i've tried to pick some billboards in a scene graph by the call

NrHits = pfChanPick( Channel, PFPK_M_NEAREST|PFTRAV_IS_PRIM, ChannelX,
ChannelY,
 0.0f, PickList ).

But i got always NrHits = 0 for billboards. Other objects are ok for picking.

Isn't it possible to pick billboards?

Our equipment: Performer 2.0, OpenGL, Irix 5.3, 6.3, indy and some O2's.

Regards,
   Thomas
