RAID Problem with Irix 6.2

Hi Performers:
We are an outfit with a 8 CPU RE2 ONYX and a 50GB RAID 3 Vault supplied by SGI (probably from CIPRICO cannot be certain as there are no manufacturer markings) around two years ago.

Our problem is that when we upgraded from 5.3 to Irix 6.2 the OS does not seem to recognize the RAID Vault. Our local SGI support informs that only RAID supported by SGI is that from DG-Clarion and no drivers available for our RAID box.

Can someone out there tell us if this problem is unique to us or there are more fellow sufferers? Would appreciate any solution/help.
