I would like to get some reaction from you about this :
A friend of mine has a small theater and she is fascinated by the
stereo projections mixted with life acting.
I made some animations using Performer, recorded them and the I projected
them on a large screen, but not stereo.
My question is, is it possible to develop and record the animation stereo on
an Onyx (I meen the stereo output of the animation) and then later display
that animation stereo on a large screen ?
What kind of extra hardware (projectors I need to display the recorded stereo
animation on the large screen) I have to use ?
I have seen something about the Stereo Projection Sceens using spatial multiplexing.
Does some one has used one of this ?
Another approach could be this :
- I will generate the stereo images and store then on the Onyx
- Then using an O2 (I don't know if he has an stereo option) of Indigo2 with
stereo option I can play back the stereo animation and project that
on the large screen.
Using the infra-red sensors and the stereo glasses I can view the animation
in 3D .
Could be that a solution ?
Any help will be appreciated,
- Ion Barosan
