The R10000 is much faster than the 250MHz R4400.

This is particularly helpfull if you are in a situation where you have
a heavy CULL process (off hand I'd say double the cull performance
without even recompiling), but the R10000 is also much better at feeding
the graphics pipe if host limits are affecting your draw times. This is
very often the case with Infinite Reality in ONYX.

Initially there were reliability problems with R10000 due to a fault
in manufacturing. This has been resolved and _all_ affected customers
have had the part replaced. This happened months ago and is no longer
a problem for currently shipping R10000 systems.
