Here is an easy, and fairly accurate way :

You have to decide which is the reference range, at which the plane is
seen in a one-to-one ratio (i.e. at its real size). For each frame,
calculate the range of the plane from the eyepoint, and scale the
plane's DCS by the ratio of the range and the reference range.
