  I'm assuming that you mean capture to disk.

  If you are trying to capture 1500 frames to disk, you are going to be
constrained by your disk bandwidth. Unless you have high disk bandwidth, you
will need to break up your captures into smaller chunks. For a list of the
bandwidth required, see the sirius (7) man page towards the end.

  If you are capturing off of tape, a possible way to work this out is to use
Videomedia's VLAN deck control to break your capture into smaller bits.
