Thanks to everyone who looked at the pfGetGSetAttrLists() problem I posted.
The experts have spoken and the answers we got all pointed out the problem.

We did not have what we thought we had. What we thought was pfGeode was in
fact pfGroup. We were led to believe it was pfGeode because we queried it
with pfGetNumGSets() and the expected number 1 was returned. Unfortunately,
we took this as good enough and never tested pfGetTypeName() or pfIsExactType()
which probably would have led us to the answer we got from the mailing list.

The loading of the model within the simulation was different, adding levels of
nodes. We're tracking it down but it appears that it is the result of the
implementation of a PVS algorithm or possibly to allow for manipulation of
objects.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed our problem!
