wet appearance in surgery

Hello,

I'm working on a surgery operation in VR project. We have modelised organs but
they seem too "dry". Can I try to give a wet appearance (something like
brightness) with special a light effect or other ?
Any ideas for a poor student behind a expansive SG ?
