MaK Technologies (pronounced mock) of Cambridge, MA is an innovative,
fast-growing company which provides cutting edge virtual environment and
Distributed Interactive Simulation research and development services to the
defense and commercial entertainment communities.

MaK is seeking to fill the following positions:

Visual Simulation Application Engineer

Responsible for development of new features and ongoing support for
our visual simulation application, a 3D viewer for networked synthetic
worlds. 3 to 5 years experience in the design, implementation, and
maintenance of sizable software efforts is essential. The ideal
candidate will have a strong C++ skills, experience with SGI
Performer(tm), and familiarity with product engineering.

3D Modeller

Contract position available to develop 3D landscapes for a Virtual Reality
computer game. We require a 3D modeller with in-depth experience in one or
more of the following: 3D Studio(TM), MultiGen/GameGen(TM), and SoftImage(TM).
Experience with image processing applications is also highly desirable. If you
are a PC gamer, that is a definite plus.

Internet Game Engineer

Help us develop our next generation networking tools for multiplayer Internet
games. Work closely with our game team through all phases of design,
development, and testing. 3-5 years experience with C/C++, TCP/IP.
 Familiarity with DirectX/DirectPlay a plus. Must be a game player!

3D Web World Engineer

Design and develop networking protocols and software for building distributed,
interactive 3D worlds on the Internet. Experience with C++, CGI, VRML, and
HTML.

Project Engineer / Principal Investigator

Conduct research into the optimization and parallelization of real-time terrain
reasoning alogorithms currently used in the DIS community. 4+ years C/C++ and
suitable experience.

Technical Support Engineer

Work with our VR-Link team to maintain and support our DIS networking products.
C/C++, Both UNIX and Windows95/WindowsNT experience desired.
