Hi,

I need some advice in doing collision detection. I'm loading in an iv
object, and want to be able to, say, compute normals on each of its
surfaces to get isect lines which I can use to test if anything close
enough to be considered a contact.

I'm not sure how to find these exterior surfaces though. I'm absolutely a
novice at this stuff, so any suggestions on other ways to do this would be
greatly appreciated. I've read through the manuals, faq, etc, but these
haven't helped that much (few examples).

Thankyou,
Brendan Kitts
