**** I neglected to add in the previous post (also below) that i need
to do this with the rest of the scene graph rendered correctly.
I.e., objects behind the spheres properly drawn and objects in
front of the spheres properly occluding the spheres. *******
Hi -
I posted a question on how draw callbacks work a few days ago.
I got several replies (that i am very appreciative of - THANKS!)
but none really solved the problem i am struggling with. Perhaps
it is due to the manner i which i stated the problem... so here
goes another try.
Is there *ANY* way in Performer 2.x to draw two semi-transparent spheres
that have a common center but different radii such that they are
both correctly rendered (front and back of both spheres visible to the
observer)? If so, *CAN* this be done in a draw callback?
Any references to relevant documents on the details of how Performer
handles callbacks and transparency would be vastly appreciated!
Thanks!
ken
